Superheroes to Descend in Downtown Calgary!

Calgary AB - On September 9, 2010 an elite group of brave participants will face their fears and descend 30 stories from the roof of the Sun Life Tower (144- 4th Avenue S.W.) into the streets of downtown Calgary, all in support of Easter Seals. Up to one hundred participants will rappel between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM dressed as their favorite Superhero. Friends, family, work colleagues and interested spectators are welcome to take in the excitement of the rappels from the safety of the ground at the corner of 1st Street and 4th Avenue S.W.

WINNIPEG- On Thursday, August 19th, 2010, 86 brave Drop Zone participants rappelled 17 storeys down the side of the RBC Building at 220 Portage Ave. to support SMD Foundation/Easter Seals™ Manitoba in the 6th annual Easter Seals™ Drop Zone.

Paul Compton Soars as Superhero

ul Compton is unstoppable. As an Easter Seals Drop Zone superhero, Paul, at the time of writing, has raised more than $4,400 for Easter Seals programs and services in PEI. He is the lead fundraiser for Team Kids to Camp, Century 21 Colonial Realty's seven member team, and by far the highest fundraiser to date among Drop Zone superheroes in Charlottetown.

Local Superheroes Rappel Down 20-storey Building and Help Raise $228,000 for Easter Seals in BC

Vancouver, BC - The British Columbia Lions Society for Children with Disabilities is pleased to announce that the fifth annual Vancouver Easter Seals Drop Zone, held on September 15th, raised over $228,000. The funds brought in by this unique event help the organization provide programs and services to children with disabilities across the province. To date the event has raised over a million dollars in BC.
